Cleaning:
After use, wipe with a damp cloth - if heavily soiled, clean with a little detergent and a brush and rinse thoroughly - and allow to dry thoroughly while standing upright.
Not dishwasher safe.

Re-oiling:
Re-oiling extends the life of the wooden product and also restores the surface protection so that bacteria and germs cannot penetrate so deeply into the wood. Clean the wooden board as described above and allow it to dry thoroughly. Apply some cooking oil with a piece of kitchen paper and rub it in well. Polish again after about 1 hour. Conventional but high-quality cooking oil (cold-pressed virgin oil) is recommended as the oil, as this does not clog the fine pores and penetrates the capillaries better.
